Turk national in dock over OSE cable theft
A 43-year-old Turkish national was to face a prosecutor in Mesogeia, eastern Attica, on Friday, after allegedly being caught with 17 meters of electrical copper cables that had been removed from a section of the Hellenic Railways Organization’s (OSE) tracks in nearby Koropi.
The 43-year-old is alleged to have worked with accomplices, who are being sought, in connection with at least 11 separate thefts of cabling from sections of OSE’s route in eastern Attica.
