Public transport disrupted on May Day (updated)

As a result of the events being held to mark May Day, there will be no intercity or Proastiakos suburban railway trains on Sunday.

The Kifissia-Piraues electric railway (ISAP) and the tram will also be out of service for the whole day.

There will be not metro service before 9 a.m. or after 9 p.m. and there will be no trains to or from Athens International Airport.

Trolley buses will be running from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Only buses will not be affected by the stoppages and strikes.

There will also be no ferries on Sunday either as sailors will be on strike.
