UN corrects reference to ‘Macedonian’ foreign minister

The United Nations, which is mediating in a dispute between Greece and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia over the latter?s official name, yesterday changed a reference on its website that described Antonio Milososki as ?the foreign minister of Macedonia? after Athens contacted the organization to complain on Thursday.

The reference to Milososki – who is due to meet with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon at the organization?s headquarters in New York – prompted jubilant reports by the media in FYROM after it was uploaded late on Wednesday.

A UN spokesman attributed the reference to a mistake by an employee in the UN website?s team.
