Declaration of wealth (pothen esches) deadline extended to Sept. 30
The submission of declaration of wealth (pothen esches) for several professions has been extended to September 30, according to an emergency legislative act issued by the cabinet’s secretariat on Friday.
The decree, which allows the government to immediately enforce legislation and seek parliamentary ratification within 40 days, as there was not enough time to approve legislation foreseeing an extension before the original deadline for pothen esches forms of June 30.
Those obliged to submit pothen esches include public functionaries, judges, local authority officials, general secretaries at ministries and journalists.
