Court gives Hellas Gold go-ahead to continue work at Skouries
The Council of State issued a decision on Thursday allowing Hellas Gold to continue work to install machinery at the Skouries mine in Halkidiki, northern Greece, for the time being.
The company, 95 percent-owned by Canada’s Eldorado Gold, had appealed against an injunction from the local town-planning office, which called for the work to be put on hold.
