Holocaust memorial in Thessloniki vandalized
Unidentified vandals damaged the Jewish Holocaust Memorial in Thessaloniki on Friday just a few days before municipal authorities are due to stage an event in memory of survivors of Nazi concentration camps.
?I think this is the least honor that Thessaloniki can pay to those who endured barbarity in its harshest form,? said Panayiotis Avramopoulos, president of Thessaloniki?s municipal council, of the upcoming ceremony.
