War machine produces pollution

How will the war affect the environment? It may sound blasphemous to talk about the environment during a war. The death of a child is cannot be compared with a tree that is destroyed. But the destruction of the environment affects society in the long run. The war machine produces terrible pollution. The country’s natural balance is disturbed (the animal kingdom has a long memory; animals never reappear in a region where they have been threatened) and large expanses of water surfaces are degraded. Of course, we must not forget that this type of war involves the drastic isolation of cities, with many victims of hunger, thirst and disease. Millions of people will be badly nourished for a long period of time, and will be without access to clean water or fresh air. Nor do we know what diseases the unfortunate US Marines will take home with them.
