Two arrested, four sought in connection with more than 100 burglaries
Two men have been arrested in connection with more than 100 burglaries in the northern suburbs of Acharnes, Aghios Stefanos and Kapandriti on the outskirts of Athens over the past 10 months.
The two suspects, aged 23 and 28, are accused of stealing valuables worth up to 750,000 euros.
During a search of the 28-year-old’s home, officers found two guns, watches and jewelry, as well as tools used in burglaries.
Four more alleged members of the same gang are being sought.
