Five bailed over Syntagma riots
Five of the 17 people arrested during clashes between police and protesters in Syntagma Square last Wednesday were release on bail on Monday.
Two of the five face felony charges, one is being prosecuted based on the law that bans people concealing their faces during public protests, and two have been charged with misdemeanours.
One of the five was asked to post bail of 70,000 euros. Police claim they found him carrying a bag of Molotov cocktails.
