EOPYY chief resigns; new head appointed

The head of the country’s main healthcare provider EOPYY, Eleftherios Papageorgopoulos, has resigned the government announced in a statement released on Wednesday.

According to the statement he will be replaced by Dimitris Kontos, head of the Greek agricultural insurance organization, OGA.

Xenophon Verginis will take over at OGA, the statement read.
