Teen remanded for murdering her baby
Police in the Peloponnesian city of Patra on Tuesday morning arrested a teenager on charges of murdering her baby, according to reports.
The 17-year-old, who was not named, was brought to a hospital in Patra after allegedly giving birth to a baby in the home of a relative. Another relative later brought the body of the baby to the same hospital, without clarifying the circumstances under which the newborn had died.
After receiving treatment at the hospital, the 17-year-old was led to a prosecutor in Messolonghi in western Greece to face charges.
