Arsonists in court over fires in Viotia and Attica
A 76-year-old man faced a prosecutor on Tuesday charged with arson through neglect in connection with a large forest fire that broke out on Monday near Dilesi, in the prefecture of Viotia.
Meanwhile a 21-year-old foreign national was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison and a 44-year-old Greek man received a suspended six-month prison term after being found guilty of causing a fire that broke out on Saturday near Koropi, eastern Attica.
