German minister to encourage firms to invest in Greece
German Economy Minister Philipp Roesler on Wednesday will meet with representatives of the country?s main employer federations to discuss plans for local firms to invest in Greece, a ministry spokesman said on Saturday.
Agence France-Presse also quoted business daily Handelsblatt as reporting the minister had developed a 16-point strategy outlining the opportunities for German firms.
Last year, German exports to Greece represented 0.6 percent of the total while imports from Greece amounted to 0.2 percent.
