Defense Minister Yiannos Papantoniou, at an informal meeting of EU defense ministries’ general directors for procurements on Rhodes yesterday, called for the process of joint European defense to be speeded up, beyond what he called ‘national reservations’ and ‘egotism.’ Greece is currently president of the EU.
