Swarm of bees kills sheep, injures shepherd
A swarm of bees attacked a flock of sheep near the village of Pyrgeto, near Larissa in central Greece, biting dozens of them, seven fatally, and sending the shepherd to hospital, it emerged on Tuesday.
According to local sources, the shepherd had taken his sheep to graze in a field accommodating about 80 beehives.
The arrival of the sheep upset the bees, which are particularly aggressive at this time of year.
