Reporter?s car shot at in Crete

Unidentified residents of the village of Anogeia, in Crete?s notoriously lawless mountain region of Mylopotamos, on Monday opened fire on a car belonging to a 52-year-old reporter from Athens, local police said.

The journalist – believed to have been visiting the area on vacation and not for work – had not been in the car at the time of the attack, according to police, who said they had collected five used cartridges from the scene.
