International arrests over child porn
An American soldier, a German importer, who is the father of six, and two Greek entrepreneurs are among six suspected members of a major child pornography ring detained over the weekend, police said.
Other suspects include an Austrian shipowner and the Ukrainian employee of a private firm. Police involved in a massive operation, code-named Angels, confiscated computer hard drives featuring hardcore images of children being sexually abused following raids on homes in the Cretan port of Hania, as well as Salamina, Lesvos, Patra and Didymoteicho.
