Burglars cought in Aghios Panteleimonas, Glyfada
Motorcycle-riding DIAS officers arrested four foreign nationals in Aghios Panteleimonas on Wednesday in connection to two break-ins carried out earlier in the day.
According to police reports, the suspects, three Moroccans and an Algerian national, are behind another 19 robberies.
Meanwhile, police in Glyfada arrested a 44-year-old man on the same day, in connection to a string of robberies conducted in the areas of Glyfada, Alimos, Vari, Voula and Nea Smyrni.
The man, who police believe extracted 300 euros at gunpoint from a pediatrician on Monday, was involved in robberies conducted in super markets, mini markets, pastry shops and hotels, among others.
