Kidnappers caught
Three people suspected of kidnapping a couple in the Peloponnese in August have been arrested and another two are being sought. The abduction occurred in Mystra on August 16 when armed men broke into the couple?s home and kidnapped them.
The man was abandoned in a forest but the 64-year-old woman was taken to an unknown location. She was kept there by her captors for several days while they tried to negotiate a ransom with her husband.
However, the woman managed to escape and flag down a passing car that drove her to safety. The three men arrested are aged 37 to 39. They were caught in Sparta.
