Immigrants deported in EU-funded crackdown

A charter plane carrying 63 Pakistani nationals left Athens for Lahore and Islamabad, police said on Thursday, noting that deportation orders had been issued for the immigrants.

The deportations are part of a European Union-funded crackdown on illegal immigration.
