Tempe section of national road closed until Nov. 25
The section of the Athens-Thessaloniki national road that passes through the Vale of Tempe in central Greece will be closed from Monday until November 25 for maintenance work.
Experts will be checking for loose rocks.
An Italian engineer was killed last December during a rockfall in Tempe that led to the road being closed for several weeks.
The section has been the site of countless accidents over the years.
