November second driest for 80 years
Greece experienced the second-driest November for the last 80 years last month, according to the latest figures.
The weather center at the National Observatory in Athens found that the total rainfall was just one millemeter. Only November 1972 has been drier during the last 80 years.
There was no rainfall at all in Patra throughout November and other cities such as Arta and Preveza also experienced a dry month.
