Former OTE CEO Vourloumis exonerated
The Athens Court of Appeals has fully exonerated the ex-CEO of OTE telecom, Panagis Vourloumis, and the former head of OTE?s technical department, Giorgos Ioannidis. The case concerned payments to Intracom, Siemens and Alcatel for technical services rendered under previous OTE managements. Regarding another suit against the board of directors of Cosmote, of which the two were members, the public prosecutor ruled that the accusation had no merit. The case concerned alleged overpayment in the acquisition by Cosmote of the Germanos retail franchise in Greece and other countries.
