Pharmacies closed on Wednesday
Pharmacies across the country will be closed Wednesday as pharmacists join a nationwide 24-hour strike in protest at the repercussions of the debt crisis on their sector.

Complaining that the sector is being subjected to ?economic asphyxiation,? the Panhellenic Association of Pharmacists has said that, as of January 1, pharmacies will stop giving credit to social security funds, which are billions of euros in debt, and as suppliers have stopped offering credit to pharmacies.
