Church and supermarkets join forces in food drive
A campaign by the Church of Greece and several supermarkets to distribute food among the needy in the countdown to Christmas is being backed by Skai.
Those interested in donating are asked to make packages of whatever food they can spare — nonperishables that do not need refrigeration are preferred — and to deposit them at the special stands in branches of AB Vassilopoulos, Veropoulos, Thanopoulos, Lidl, Masoutis, Balaskas and Sklavenitis.
