Victims identified in double murder
Two bodies found on Saturday buried under rubble in a landfill in Lagada, near Thessaloniki, were identified on Tuesday as a 17-year-old youth of Pomak descent and 16-year-old ethnic Greek girl from Albania.
Police believe that the pair were a couple and had planned to elope.
The youth had been struck several times in the head and chest with a blunt object while the girl?s body bore similar wounds, according to police who did not give details of any suspects for the double murder.
