Did Georgian crook bribe Greek police?
The first instance prosecutor?s office in Athens launched a probe on Wednesday into Spanish media claims that a Georgian criminal who was wanted in Spain had bribed Greek policemen 800,000 euros so they would not arrest him.
The suspect had been on the run in Greece and was recently arrested in Vouliagmeni, southern Athens.
