Homeless man dies outside Patra hospital
A disabled homeless man died outside Patra Hospital, authorities said on Wednesday.
It was not clear if the unnamed man had died from the cold or other causes. Hospital staff said that he had sought treatment at the emergency department on Tuesday evening but doctors were not able to find anything wrong with him.
Nurses gave the elderly man some blankets to help him stay warm after it became clear that he was reluctant to leave the hospital grounds.
A coroner is to investigate the cause of death.
