More than a quarter of Greeks at risk of poverty
More than one in four Greeks is living under the threat of poverty and social exclusion, according to figures published by Eurostat, the European Commission?s statistics agency, on Wednesday.
The statistics indicate that Greece ranks seventh in the European Union in terms of percentage of citizens living in poverty, with the Greek figure seen at 27.7 percent.
