Police probing suspicious deaths in northern Greece
Police in Serres and Veria, both in northern Greece, were on Monday investigating two seperate deaths.
In Serres, a 72-year-old was found dead in his home, and while his body bore no signs of injury, police suspect he was murdered.
In Veria, meanwhile, a 21-year-old woman died in a local hospital from injuries sustained after falling from the balcony of her third-floor apartment.
The seriously injured woman was driven to the hospital by her partner, who admitted that they had gotten into a violent argument but denied pushing her off the balcony, claiming that she tripped and fell.
