Athens businessman held over unpaid VAT bill

The 62-year-old chairman of a metal-trading company in the Athens neighborhood of Ano Liosia was arrested on Monday over an unpaid value-added tax bill.

Authorities said that the firm owed 144,528 euros to the state.
