Athens firm on islands, in talks with Libya for oil imports

The status of islands and islets in the Aegean is not up for question, Foreign Ministry spokesman Grigoris Delavekouras said on Thursday in a clear response to a statement by Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, according to which the islands of Farmakonisi and Agathonisi belong to ?gray zones.?

Separately, Delavekouras said that Greece was in talks with Libya regarding oil imports as the North African country is increasing production and ahead of the imposition of European Union sanctions on oil supplies from Iran.
