An investigating magistrate has been appointed to probe allegations of match fixing in Greek soccer matches.
Journalist Kyriakos Thomaidis was the first to give evidence in the new round of investigation on Tuesday.
The claims that dozens of match at various levels of Greek soccer, including the top flight, came to light last summer and led to dozens of arrests.
