Greek defense minister talks to Turk counterpart about air space violations
Defense Minister Panos Panayiotopoulos on Thursday broached the issue of a recent spate of Turkish violations of Greek air space in the Aegean with his Turkish counterpart, Ismet Yilmaz.
Panayiotopoulos raised the issue during talks with Yilmaz on the sidelines of a summit of NATO defense ministers in Brussels.
According to sources, Panayiotopoulos remarked that the violations did not contribute to efforts aimed at improving cooperation and good-neighborly relations between the two countries.
