Greek seamen on 48-hour strike

Greek seamen will launch a 48-hour strike next Tuesday and Wednesday to protest the government?s plans to merge their health service provider with the state?s main healthcare provider (EOPYY).

The strike is likely to cause problems for thousands of Greeks planning to travel to islands ahead of Orthodox Easter on Sunday, April 15.
