Prosecutor sees ex-insurance chief guilty on 3 charges
A prosecutor on Tuesday called for Pavlos Psomiadis, president of the defunct Aspis Pronia life insurance firm, to be found guilty on three criminal charges.
Psomiadis is charged with providing Aspis?s creditors with a false 550-million-euro letter of guarantee from a British bank to keep the business afloat.
Earlier, in his defense, Psomiadis denied the charges and claimed not to have known that the letter of guarantee had been forged.
