KTEL bus drivers call off action midway through strike
KTEL inter-city bus drivers called off their 24-hour strike on Thursday afternoon, saying they did not want to cause any more inconvenience to passengers ahead of Easter.
According to state-run NET TV, the drivers ended their protest at the main KTEL bus terminal in Athens but said they would continue their action after Easter.
They were protesting recent sackings of colleagues and the fact that employers have not signed a new collective labor contract.
