Three traced in child porn probe
Members of the police?s electronic crimes squad on Friday arrested a 25-year-old man and issued arrest warrants for another two men, aged 33 and 53, on charges of trading in child pornography.
The 25-year-old was arrested in Athens following a long investigation by police who trailed his activities on the internet. The same probe led police to trace the 33-year-old and the 53-year-old, who is a retired army officer, online.
Officers are now seeking to track the suspects who are believed to have been trading in hardcore material. Searches on the homes of all three suspects turned up several computer hard drives containing countless videos and photographs showing children being sexually abused.
