Public transport disruptions due to Sunday election

Public transportation services will face some disruptions due to the May 6 general elections.

Buses and trolleys will be running at a reduced frequency from Friday through Monday, except for those that serve airports, ports and intercity bus depots.

The tram will also have a reduced frequency timetable tomorrow through Monday.

The Athens metro will extend the operating hours of lines 2 and 3 on Sunday night by one hour, with the final departures from Syntagma Square taking place at 1.20 a.m. on Monday.

The Piraeus-Kifissia electrical railway (ISAP) will operate as usual.
