Storms to hit northern, western and central Greece
Strong rain and thunderstorms are expected to sweep across northern, western and central Greece later on Monday, according to a warning issued by the Hellenic National Meteorological Service.
The wet front is expected to affect the islands of the Ionian, Epirus, Western and Central Macedonia, the northwestern Aegean, Thessaly and the northwestern Peloponnese, spreading late at night to Eastern Macedonia, Thrace and the Northeastern Aegean.
Storms will ease off by Tuesday morning, according to the report.
