Street trader’s comment sparks clash outside university
Students at the Athens University of Economics and Business who were protesting a police raid on their campus on Tuesday jumped to the defense of African street peddlers who became embroiled in a clash with Albanian nationals outside the institution.
According to officers, a fight broke out when a passing Albanian was offended by a comment made by one of the street traders about his wife.
Nobody was injured in the brawl but one car was damaged.
