Ex-MP Plevris attacked at court in Athens
Former MP, Thanos Plevris, who earlier this week moved from the nationalist Popular Orthodox Rally (LAOS) to New Democracy was attacked at Athens?s main court complex on Wednesday morning.
According to Skai TV, Plevris, who is a lawyer by profession, was there to defend a client, a woman who had been accused of attacking immigrants.
It is thought that his attackers were protesting his role in the case. It is not clear if Plevris suffered any injuries in the attack.
