Missing British hiker unharmed
The wide-scale search for a British hiker, aged 53, who was reported missing by a friend on Sunday while hiking on Mount Olympus in northern Greece, was called off on Tuesday afternoon after he turned up at his hotel unharmed.
A search had been under way for the Briton since Sunday, with rescue crews early on Tuesday requesting the help of a helicopter to locate the hiker in what is rough terrain. But reports later in the day said he turned up at the hotel where he was staying, without, however, giving more details.
