Woman, 74, sentenced for 1996 murder of 82-year-old
A Thessaloniki appeals court on Wednesday passed down a life sentence to a 74-year-old woman found guilty of killing an 82-year-old man on whom she is said to have been financially dependent.
The court deemed the woman murdered the 82-year-old in 1996 in cold blood.
A close friend of the victim, who helped the woman bury the victim?s body, was sentenced to 18 months in jail.
