Restaurant robber opens fire in Kavala
Police are trying to trace down a pair of armed robbers who hit a restaurant in Kavala, northern Greece.
The robbery took place late Sunday at the seaside Eleftheres village, 17 kilometers from Kavala.
One of the robbers had a gun and demanded money from the employees. He then fled the scene, with an unknown amount of cash, in a vehicle driven by an accomplice. The suspect opened fire, shooting at least four times, and threw a hand grenade on the restaurant owner and one more man who tried to chase the robbers.
No one was injured in the attack.
