The full moon is eclipsed…

The full moon is eclipsed by the shadow of the Earth during this combination photo taken between 4.48 and 5.54 a.m. early yesterday over Athens. During an eclipse, the sun, Earth and moon line up, leaving a darkened moon visible to everyone on the night side of the planet.
