Motorcyclist injures mother, twins, turns himself in
A 21-year-old motorcyclist surrendered to police on Thursday after seriously injuring a mother and her seven-year-old twins earlier in the day.
According to police reports, the accident occured after the motorcyclist ran a red light on the intersection of Patission and Troias streets in Athens.
The man, a permanent non-commissioned Hellenic Navy officer, fled the scene immediately after the accident before turning himself in a few hours later.
Prior to the accident he had also injured a cyclist.
