Detained minister wants ex premiers to testify
The legal team representing former Defense Minister Akis Tsochatzopoulos, who is in detention pending trial for money laundering, Thursday lodged an official appeal for the former members of the Governmental Council of Foreign Affairs and National Defense (KYSEA) that existed when Tsochatzopoulos was defense minister to testify in connection with the procurement of four German submarines.
The composition of KYSEA at the time include two Socialist ex-premiers, Costas Simitis and George Papandreou.
