Ex-minister’s daughter concedes assets

Areti Tsochatzopoulou, the daughter of former Defense Minister Akis Tsochatzopoulos who has been detained pending trial on money laundering charges in the same prison as her father, on Tuesday declared that she was conceding to the state all assets obtained with her father?s dubiously acquired cash.

In a letter to magistrate Gavriil Mallis, who is probing the case, Tsochatzopoulou said she was conceding ?all my assets that were obtained with my father?s money and are deemed to have come from criminal activities.?
