Thieves have broken into a church in Halkidiki, northern Greece, and stolen the relics of four saints, authorities said Wednesday.
The robbery at Aghia Efimia took place on July 29 or 30, according to police.
A reliquary containing the remains of saints Ioustini, Lavrentios, Prosdokimos and Paolina was taken from the church. The robbers also took a silver chalice and plate.
